Detox-Week 1

WEEK 1--it's all about eliminating foods that are not beneficial for detoxification such as processed foods, sugar, flour, grains, sodas, dairy, all animal products, caffeine and alcohol. I am doing the protocol along with the class. Let you know how it goes in the weeks to come!

We started with a wheatgrass shot, a sample of a vegetable juice, and an all raw menu followed—fresh tomato salsa, guacamole, marinated mushrooms, flax, chia & sunflower crackers, zucchini pasta with basil pesto and sprouts. Lastly chocolate banana torte. It sounds like all we did is eat but we managed a bit of real detoxification work.
