Juicing..

My favorite daily juice includes 4-5 kale leaves, a handful of parsley, a handful of sunflower sprouts, 2 celery stocks, 1 whole cucumber, 3 carrots, 1 small beet, 1 apple, 2 inches of fresh ginger, ½ a whole lemon (that means the peel too). Then I add the juice of the other half lemon. Makes about 24-32 oz. of fresh juice. When available I also add 1-2 cubes of wheatgrass (I juice wheatgrass and freeze in ice cube trays for quick use during the week). This juice is detoxifying to the liver, (if you replace cilantro for the parsley, it can pull out heavy duty toxins), vitamin rich, full of enzymes and delicious!!! Anytime you use beet you will have a lovely deep pink-red colored juice. Gives me loads of energy for several hours. Just try one and you will be hooked… if you do it daily the benefits are long-lasting.
